Located at the end of Straight Wharf (near the Hy-Line Ferry, Ropewalk Restaurant & Boat Basin Showers), we offer an assortment of “true summer treats.” Delicious flavors of premium hard ice cream await the kid in everyone (or try a specialty ice cream sandwich, frappe or sundae). We are also the official and original home of Nantucket Nectars and blend a dozen “Juice Guys” smoothies with juices, fruits, yogurts and sorbets.
There’s more! Come for breakfast and watch the harbor wake up with a coffee, fresh baked muffin or breakfast sandwich. All-Beef Hot Dogs begin grilling around lunch and in the busy season, are served well into the night (try one loaded with our own sautéed peppers & onions on a grilled bun). You’ll also find homemade cookies, chips, drinks, iced coffee, hot tea, and whatever else we find to stock on our shelves.
If you’re arriving by boat, Nantucket Ice Cream & “Juice Guys” is the closest stop for a quick treat. Look for us near the Nantucket Boat Basin showers. We cater to crew and guests alike – our hand-packed pints are a fixture on transient boats from 20 – 200 feet! It’s not uncommon for us to meet people from France, Australia, South Africa, Florida, New York, and beyond in a single day.

After a very scientific (and gut-busting) off-season of trying and testing hot dogs, we are proud to offer Boar’s Head All-Beef dogs this summer. The most affordable lunch on Nantucket is a Wharf Dog – try it naked, with our own sautéed peppers & onions (Cisco – the local brew – is the secret to the flavor), sauerkraut and applewood smoked bacon, cheese, or FULLY LOADED! In the busy season we begin “Dogs After Dark,” serving late night snacks to Nantucket’s Nocturnal Creatures!Also Available: Candies, Nuts, Chips, Cold Drinks, Granola Bars and anything else we can fit into our little shingled shack!
